AI Swipe (the "App") is a photo management and enhancement tool that provides local photo scanning, duplicate detection, intelligent organization, compression, photo enhancement, private space, and cleanup guidance.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App. By using AI Swipe, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Our Privacy Commitment

At AI Swipe, your privacy is our top priority. We believe your photos and personal data should remain exactly where they belong—on your device, under your control.

AI Swipe operates with a privacy-first approach. All photo processing, including AI-powered analysis for duplicate detection, photo enhancement, compression, and intelligent organization, runs completely locally on your device using on-device processing capabilities. We never upload, transmit, or access your photos through external servers.

3. Information We Access

AI Swipe requires access to your photo library to provide its core functionality. Here's exactly what we access and why:

Photo Library Access

Photo files and media: To display photos and videos for organization, cleanup, and enhancement
Photo metadata: Including file size, creation date, modification date, and dimensions—used for sorting, storage analysis, and cleanup suggestions
Image content: Analyzed locally by on-device AI for duplicate detection, blur identification, categorization and photo enhancement features
Video files: For compression and size analysis features

Optional Device Permissions

Notifications: Used only if you enable local reminders for photo cleanup—all notification scheduling happens locally on your device

4. How We Use This Information

All data processing occurs exclusively on your device for the following purposes:

Photo Organization: Categorizing photos by time on-device AI
Duplicate & Similar Photo Detection: Identifying near-duplicates and visually similar photos to help you keep only the best shots
Photo Enhancement: Improving photo quality through on-device processing
Image Compression: Reducing file sizes while maintaining visual quality
Storage Analysis: Displaying storage usage statistics and cleanup recommendations
Private Space: Managing your private photo vault entirely on-device
App Preferences: Saving your settings, swipe decisions, and progress tracking locally

5. Information We Do Not Collect

Information processed only on your device and not transmitted to us is not collected by us. We do not collect the contents of your photo or video library, thumbnails, media metadata, scan results, similarity groups, enhancement results, compression results, deletion choices, or private-space content.

We also do not collect your Contacts, email inbox, precise location, health data, advertising identifier (IDFA), or activity across other companies' apps and websites.

6. Data Storage

AI Swipe stores temporary organizational data locally on your device using:

Device local storage
Temporary memory cache for app performance
User preferences and app settings

7. Permissions, Local Storage, and Deletion

Photos permission. You can change full, limited, or denied access in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > AI Swipe. Limiting or denying access may prevent related features from working.

Local App data. Local settings, scan results, temporary files, enhanced or compressed copies, and private-space content remain on your device until you clear them through available App controls or delete the App. Deleting the App does not delete original items in your Photos library. However, clearing local App data or deleting the App may permanently remove private-space content stored only inside the App. Save any item you want to keep back to Photos before clearing data or deleting the App.

8. Retention and Security

Information stored only on your device remains there until it is cleared by the App, removed by iOS, or deleted with the App.

Support messages and any Apple-provided diagnostic information are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law, and are then deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information we receive. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable law. Any changes will be posted within the app and on our website. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
